• Farkin' Snow.

  What an exciting morning.  Woke up expecting huge delay on all major streets.  This is by far the worst drive ever on my way to work. 

  Cold as hell trying to scrap the snow off my car.  It is already pretty thick (couple inches) on the ground I almost couldn't back out of the parking lot.  Lame Mitsubishi. 

  While my way to work, I saw endless cars got stucked on the road, some of them can't even get out of their neighborhood streets.  Saw a nice semi-big Van drifted in front of me.  Pretty cool to see a van does that.  And I kept enough distance so i didn't run into its ass.  There was also another car, probalby have a broken wiper.  Driver had to lean out of the window and drive.  Sad. 

  Anyhow - few interesting facts:

  1.  Chicago sucks.  But at least I am not in Kansas.  They got 16 inches of snow FFS.

  2.  I was in car for so long, long enough that same radio station played Justin Timberlake's "my love" watever song 3 TIMES this morning. And I listened to it 3 times without switching the channel.  Holy crap. 

  3.  Barington and Lake intersection was completely blocked by chuck of snow.  Funny how it only blocks JUST the intersection area.  My boss was on Lake and he doesn't know what's going on until I heard this on radio and called him.  Police was busy tryin to melt the ice or something....   wtf?

  4.  BIG BIG trailers (the ones drag containers) are actually WEAK.  I thought they could run through watever snow blocks and turn out they get stuck too.  haha.

  5.  Distance for me to get to work: 41 miles.

       avg. time needed: appox 1 hour.

       Today:  2 hours and 40 mins.

       avg. 15.4 miles per hour... not bad........   thanks to my uber driving skill....

   

  Oh and...  our company's parking lot has shit load of snow right now... I had to park at the company across from the street.
