  • DAY 2

In a yellow taxi somewhere in Taipei... traffic jam!!!!

After a long time in the cab, I realized I wasn't moving much since 101 is still near me.  what the heck?

The place I ate dinner at - Grand Hyatt Taipei.  They actually changed the name from „P‚ to ¾ý‚.   I like the old translationi for Hyatt better.

    Random shot

Couple Christmas Trees with LED light bulb.  Supposely each string of these LEDs cost over few k NT dollar.. meaning these trees worth a ton.

    Me

Grand ballroom, Hyatt 3F.  Credit Suisse Wine Dinner.

    Menu for the night...

Goose Liver Terrine with Marinated Mushrooms in Truffle Vinaigrette Herbs Salad and Country Bread.  (btw I did not translate these myself..... it's on the invitation.  What a long ass name!)

Creamy Lobster and Pumpkin Soup with Spicy Chicken bits

Pan Fried Sea Scallop, Porcini and Truffle Risotto With Pinot Noir Reduction

Before entree, already 4 glasses of diff type of wines.  (+1 champagne I finished so 5 total....)

Pan Fried Beef Tenderloin on Garlic Mash Roast Parsnip, Green Asparagus Tips and Pinot Noir Glace.

    Sweeeets!

That thing I circled in RED... omg it's awesome. I think I was the only one eating these since everyone else was so full from all the wine and course..   SUCH A WASTE! should have bagged them home.

    Craziness...  Loaded with glasses!!!!

    Done for the night...
