Taiwan Police, Kidnap Gang Engage in 6-Hour Shootout, Post Says
July 27 (Bloomberg) -- Taiwan police fired more than 3,000 bullets during a six-hour shootout with a gang of kidnappers yesterday, the South China Morning Post reported, citing police. The alleged head of the gang escaped, it said.
Police raided a house in the southern city of Kaoshiung where the gang was believed to be holed up, the Hong Kong newspaper said. About 1,000 police eventually were involved in a series of running gunfights. Two members of the gang were wounded and captured, it said. Four police officers suffered minor injuries.
The gang is suspected of engineering a series of kidnappings of businessmen and students. Gang leader Chang Hsi-min has been on Taiwan's most-wanted list for six months, the paper said.

(A brave cop try to chase the bad guys while they are getting away.... (according to the news, he slipped and fell on the floor so he couldn't catch them... -_-) But seriously this dude got some ballz... look at that weak ass pistol he got... oh yeah, even he fell on the floor while facing some criminal with m16... he still look calm and even remembered to pick up his "orange traffic control stick".... (which looks like a carrot/dildo to me)
